Moonberry organised a “Bikini & Boardshorts Poolside Potluck BBQ” (such a long term -_-“) to celebrate her americaness, so we were all invited to her house for some good food and company.

We had very yummy lobster and chicken wings which the guys grilled at the BBQ pit. Seriously, this is one of the best BBQ chicken wings I have tasted, which reminds me of the Neelys. Derrick bought some famous Satays over.

Jacob cooked Mac & Cheese, Alvin prepared Brushchetta, while I did the Thai Complicated Noodles. Kind Evonne gave me a recipe so I did it and shared with my friends. Glad that they are supportive of it.

The blueberry cheesecake is made by Daniel and me during a cooking workshop the day before, and kind Daniel has brought home to chill it and shared it with us at the BBQ. It is so YUMMY! I will share the recipe next week! Hazel made a yummy dessert too!
Here’s some shots of us! You will be disappointed because there is not much bikini shots! We are too shy, we only eat! 😀

Here’s two more shots of my remake of the complicated noodles. This dish is actually a creation in Greyhound Cafe, Thailand. We ate it during my last trip there and I simply love it to bits. It is simply made of noodle sheet (which is the kway chap noodles), fresh lettuce leaves, minced pork sauce and chili sauce. It is called complicated cuz you have to wrap the noodle sheet with lettuce leaves and minced pork sauce into a bite size. But trust me, it is worth every bite.

I took almost 2 hours to make this dish because the minced pork has to be marinated and cooked for some time to get the flavourful pork stew. And it took me another 30 mins to pound the chilli to create the sauce as seen above. Sorry, I promised Evonne not to share the recipe so you have to figure it yourself. Or else, visit Greyhound Cafe in Bangkok!
