Old Chang Kee has two new flavours of curry puffs – Salted Egg Prawn’O and Chilli Crab’O ($3 for 1 set of the new flavours). The chilli crab puff is OH SO GOOD! And you can even get an entire crab meat inside the puff! I like the crust which is so crisp and buttery!

Toast Box

I think it is quite obvious that I am a fan of Toast Box, based on the regular instagram photos. Half boiled egg, freshly toasted kaya bread and fragrant teh, our typical breakfast ($4.70) in the morning. I enjoy watching the staff pulling coffee and tea, and I love my kaya toast with a slice of butter!

Crystal Jade My Bread

Exquisitely prepared by Crystal Jade Hong Kong chef, the Hong Kong BBQ Pork Bo Lo Bun ($1.60) is freshly baked to perfection with a delightful golden crispy top, resembling the surface of pineapple, which is why it’s called “Bo Lo” (pineapple). Filled with the freshest BBQ pork, it is delicious.

Bengawan Solo

Bengawan Solo’s Pandan Chiffon Cake ($1.20) beat any other pandan cake hands down because it is so airy and light! Till now, I would still walk in and just grab a piece of the pandan cake. When my overseas friend come for a visit, they will definitely buy pandan cake from Bengawan Solo too! I also like their Lapis Sagu ($1) and I have a habit of peeling it off layer after layer.

Polar Puffs & Cakes

Unit: #B1-K8

Polar Puffs & Cakes’s strawberry cake roll (3 pcs $2.40) is consistently soft, light and fluffy, and the strawberry jam in-between tastes quite concentrated. It’s great for parties!

Mr Bean

Unit: #B1-K7

Mr Bean has always been a good choice for a quick snack. I love their soya bean very much! Recently, they have introduced soya bean milk tea. You can get the fragrance from the tea and the aroma from the soya bean. It is less sweet than our usual teh. Pair it with the pancakes for a complete meal ($2.70).

Four Leaves

Unit: #B1-15/16

Since its establishment in 1981, Four Leaves has been consistently serving customers with quality breads. The healthy tuna bread ($1.70) is one of my usual breakfast choices.

Baskin Robbins

Unit: #01-11

We ended the night at Clementi Mall with a cup of Banana Royale Sundae. This classic ice cream treat starts with two of your favourite ice cream flavours topped off with bananas, hot fudge, chopped almonds, whipped cream and a cherry. I added a piece of waffle to it too!
