Avocadoria (Kiosk #B2-23)

As an avocado lover, I couldn’t resist trying Avocadoria, a brand from the Philippines known for its indulgent avocado desserts. The Avocado Lover was a delight—a creamy avocado ice cream layered with homemade biscuits, tapioca pearls, and topped with real avocado tidbits, chia seeds, and roasted almonds. It was rich and satisfying, yet surprisingly light.

Bingz 西少爷 (New Flavours food street #01-21/22)

Bingz 西少爷, a well-loved quick-serve restaurant from China, has made its mark at AMK Hub, offering crispy burgers (Roujiamo) with a variety of flavorful fillings like pork, chicken, beef, and vegetables. Their buns, baked fresh in-house, ensure every bite is perfectly crispy yet soft.

Their Signature Pork Burger (经典腊汁肉夹馍) completely lived up to the hype. The pork was tender and flavourful, while the crispy, freshly baked bun added the perfect texture. It’s the kind of snack you’ll keep thinking about long after the last bite.

I also ordered the Wonton Soup (金牌鲜肉小馄饨), and it was pure comfort in a bowl. The broth was light but flavourful, and the delicate dumplings were packed with juicy meat. It’s a great side to pair with the burger.

The Hot & Sour Glass Noodles (鸡骨浓汤酸辣粉) surprised me the most. The tangy, spicy broth was bold and addictive, and the chewy noodles soaked up all the flavours beautifully. If you love a bit of heat, this is a must-try. Enjoy 5% off all dishes at Bingz! Terms apply: not valid with other promotions.

Chicken Pie Kitchen & Don Signature Crab (Kiosk #B2-44)

Chicken Pie Kitchen & Don Signature Crab has brought its hearty and flavourful creations to AMK Hub with a kiosk offering the different pie flavours. Helmed by Chef Don of ‘DON Your Personal Pie Club,’ this spot is perfect for grabbing a quick bite or indulging in classic comfort food. I tried their Chicken Pie, available in small and large sizes. The buttery, flaky crust enveloped a savoury filling of tender chicken, vegetables, and aromatic herbs—every bite was both comforting and satisfying.

Their Kueh Lapis was another standout, with its perfectly layered, moist texture and subtle fragrance that made it hard to stop at one slice. Beyond these treats, the kiosk offers Chinese New Year specialties like pineapple tarts, which are melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the show-stopping Pen Cai. This luxurious 5kg seafood pot, served in a limited-edition enameled cast iron casserole, is packed with premium ingredients like abalone, prawns, and scallops—perfect for festive gatherings. Fong Sheng Hao (New food street #01-23/24)

Fong Sheng Hao, a Taiwanese gem at AMK Hub, is known for its hearty, flavourful offerings that transport you straight to the streets of Taiwan. I tried their Salted Egg Chicken Rice, which featured crispy fried chicken coated in a rich salted egg sauce that was creamy and indulgent without being overwhelming. The TW Special Pork Patty, made with house-made pork mince, stood out for its juiciness and excellent mouthfeel—a true testament to the craftsmanship behind every dish.

The Milky Butter Toast was a delightful surprise. The house-made bread was fluffy on the inside, with a subtle crispiness on the outside. Each bite revealed the unmistakable flavours of milk and butter, with a creamy richness that lingered pleasantly. The milk-butter crumble added a satisfying crunch, though it made the toast a bit messy—well worth it for the added texture.
To round off the meal, I sipped on their Signature Milk Tea and Black Tea. The milk tea was smooth and aromatic, while the black tea offered a light, refreshing contrast to the rich flavours of the food.

Mincheng Bibimbap (New food street #01-25 /26)

Mincheng Bibimbap is a crowd-favourite at AMK Hub, known for its affordable and satisfying Korean food that draws long queues daily. Established in 2008, this chain specializes in Chinese-Korean ethnic cuisine, blending flavours from the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture in China for a truly unique dining experience.

I tried the Pork Bibimbap, which was a delightful mix of fresh vegetables, tender pork, and perfectly seasoned gochujang sauce. The dish is both hearty and balanced, with a satisfying kick of spice. The Angus Marbled Beef was tender and juicy, offering a melt-in-your-mouth experience that paired wonderfully with the fragrant jasmine rice. The Spicy Squid, seasoned with a bold cumin flavor, delivers a smoky and slightly fiery taste that pairs well with rice.

What sets Mincheng Bibimbap apart is the free flow of rice, soup, and kimchi, making it an excellent value for money. Whether you’re a fan of Korean food or exploring it for the first time, Mincheng Bibimbap offers a delicious, budget-friendly feast that’s well worth the wait in line.

Sukiya Gyudon (New food street #01-06)

Their Morning Mix Breakfast is a well-balanced set featuring mini beef and chicken yakitori plates, Koshihikari rice, fresh okra, a half-boiled egg, and a choice of miso soup or drink. At just $5.40, it’s a fantastic value for a wholesome breakfast available daily from 8am to 11am.

From their limited-time offerings, the Shrimp with Chili Gravy Gyudon was a highlight. The tender shrimp paired beautifully with the signature beef bowl and a flavourful chili sauce that had just the right kick. Adding green veggies and miso soup for an extra $2 made it even more satisfying.

For those who don’t eat beef, the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl is a must-try. The grilled salmon slices, coated in a sweet and savoury teriyaki glaze, were perfectly cooked and paired well with the rice. To complete the meal, go for Sukiya’s signature SUKICHA Matcha Latte, a rich and creamy drink, perfect for a comforting finish.

Talad Thai Banana (Kiosk #B2-17)

After dinner, I couldn’t resist stopping by Talad Thai Banana at AMK Hub for some authentic Thai street snacks. This humble kiosk specialises in fried snacks, all prepared fresh on-site, ensuring every bite is crisp, warm, and deliciously satisfying.

The Fried Banana is a must-try. Coated in a light, crispy batter, the banana inside remains soft and sweet, creating a perfect contrast of textures. Each piece is fried to golden perfection, making it an indulgent treat that feels straight out of a bustling Thai market.

Their Fried Yam is equally delightful, offering a hearty, earthy sweetness encased in a perfectly crisp exterior. It’s simple yet so addictive, great for sharing or as a quick snack to perk up your day.

The Fried Sweet Potato Balls are a crowd-pleaser, with their chewy, bouncy texture and subtle natural sweetness. These bite-sized treats are lightly crispy on the outside, making them impossible to stop at just one.

The White Tiffin (New food street #01-04/05)

The White Tiffin, one of the exciting new additions to AMK Hub, brings a modern twist to Chinese-Peranakan cuisine, evoking the comforting flavours of ‘grandma’s cooking.’ This restaurant offers a nostalgic yet refreshing dining experience with dishes that remind you of home-cooked meals infused with love and tradition.

We started with the Morning Trio, a delightful breakfast set featuring silverfish porridge, savoury yam cake, and fried beehoon with fishcake. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, offering a variety of textures and flavours to kickstart the day. The Toast Set was a simple yet satisfying classic, with crispy, golden-brown toast (your choice of kaya or peanut butter) paired with soft-boiled eggs and a hot traditional drink.

The highlight was the Tiffin Sampler for 1, featuring Grandma’s Curry Chicken, Babi Pongteh, Black Vinegar Pork, Signature Beef Rendang, seasonal vegetables, fragrant jasmine rice, Nyonya achar, and crispy papadum. Each dish was rich, flavourful, and beautifully presented. For dessert, the Kueh Platter stole the show, offering 40 pieces of traditional delights like Kueh Salat, Kueh Lapis, and Bingka Ubi—perfect for sharing. The Kueh Platter is available for pre-order, you order the individual kueh in the restaurant.

Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine (#02-26)

Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine, one of my favourite Chinese restaurants, has now opened in AMK Hub! Founded in 2009, this restaurant specializes in Hunan cuisine, with a menu thoughtfully crafted by a local culinary team to suit local taste buds while retaining the bold and spicy flavours that Hunan food is known for.

I started with the Hunan Stir-Fry Pork, a classic dish bursting with smoky, savoury flavours and a touch of heat. The Golden Broth Sour and Spicy Fish was another standout, with tender fish fillets swimming in a tangy, spicy broth that perfectly balanced richness and zest. The 18-Second Angus Beef Stir-Fry impressed with its tender, juicy slices of beef cooked to perfection in record time, while the Changsha Peppered Century Eggs offered a unique flavour explosion with a touch of heat and umami.

To complete the meal, I paired these dishes with fragrant Premium Wuchang Rice, known for its superior texture and aroma, and a refreshing Jumbo Lemon Tea, the perfect counterbalance to the rich and spicy flavours. Get $8 off with a minimum spend of $50 at Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine in AMK Hub!
