Craft Bakery & Café at Holland Village
August 02, 2014
Everyone knows 3 Inch Sin for their cakes right? One year ago, the people behind 3 Inch Sin decided to open at café called “Craft Bakery” in Holland Village. This is a great place for meet up with friends as we chat about anything under the sun while enjoying their food (desserts particularly).
While their French Toast ($9.50) is slightly too dry for my liking, we like the skinny fries tossed with white truffle oil and parmesan cheese ($9). The perfumed fries are crisp, they are so seriously addictive that they almost diverted our attention away from our main course. The Prawn Aglio Olio ($16) had a hint of smoky aroma. The paste is tossed with olive oil and sprinkled with bacon bits. You can add in more cheese or chilli flakes if you want.
The most memorable, is their carrot cake. Cake is so moist and the cream cheese frosting is luscious. Best of all, the chef doesn’t go crazy with the sugar!
