Discover Dairy Farm Mall: My New Favorite Hangout in the Dairy Farm Vicinity

Let me tell you about my latest retail discovery – Dairy Farm Mall! I recently had the chance to check it out, and it’s safe to say that I’ve found my new favorite hangout spot in this lush, nature-filled corner of Singapore.

Nestled within the first integrated development in the Dairy Farm area, this modern mall beautifully blends nature with convenience, and I think it’s perfect for anyone looking for a little escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

What struck me immediately is the mall’s design. Picture this: wood-inspired architecture, calm, earthy tones, and natural light streaming through large windows. It felt like a peaceful retreat, a place where you could shop, grab a bite, or just unwind in a serene environment. But don’t let the tranquility fool you – Dairy Farm Mall offers a vibrant mix of dining, fitness, and lifestyle options that are sure to cater to everyone’s needs. Ze German (#B1-03)

One of the biggest surprises at Dairy Farm Mall was Ze German, a hidden gem that brings authentic German flavors to Singapore. Ze German is a charming minimart-bistro hybrid, offering not only traditional German meals but also a wide range of German groceries and household products. It’s the perfect spot for anyone who wants to enjoy hearty, delicious food or stock up on authentic German goodies.

When I visited, I knew I had to try their famous Bavarian Meatloaf Burger, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The meatloaf was tender and packed with flavor, sandwiched between freshly baked pretzel buns. I also had to try their Currywurst, a classic German street food that instantly brought back memories of my travel days in Berlin. The perfectly grilled sausage, smothered in that iconic tangy curry ketchup, hit all the right notes. It made me miss the vibrant food stalls scattered around Berlin, but at the same time, it was comforting to find this taste so close to home.

If you’re a fan of German food, or if you’re just looking for something new to try, Ze German is the place to be. And heads up – they’re expanding their bistro offerings soon, teaming up with The Berry Spot to bring authentic acai bowls to the neighborhood. I’ll definitely be back to try that! A.T. GLACE – Gelato & Boba Tea Café (#B1-05/06)

If you’ve got a sweet tooth like me, you will love A.T. Glace at Dairy Farm Mall which is a dessert lover’s dream come true! This spin-off from the popular Ambling Turtle café focuses on artisanal gelato and brewed-to-order teas, all made with top quality ingredients. Whether you’re craving a sweet, creamy gelato or a refreshing tea, A.T. Glace offers something for everyone.

On my visit, I indulged in their pandan buttermilk waffle topped with roasted pistachio gelato, and wow, what a treat! The waffle was soft on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the outside, and the pistachio gelato was rich and creamy with a satisfying nutty flavor. I also tried their mochi waffle paired with mango yuzu gelato which was very yummy!
To wash it all down, we sampled a trio of refreshing drinks. The Okinawa brown sugar pearl with milk was a deliciously indulgent, creamy treat, while the Da Hong Pao milk tea with mochi was the perfect blend of tea and chewy mochi goodness. And if you’re in the mood for something fruity, the grapefruit yuzu drink is a great choice.

Monzen Izakaya and Grill (#01-04) – Where Tradition Meets Innovation

Monzen Izakaya and Grill is a fantastic find for lovers of Japanese food. From sashimi and sushi to donburi and grilled dishes, every item on their menu is crafted with precision, bringing out the authentic flavors of Japan while incorporating modern twists.

I tried several of their signature dishes, and my favourite was their Kushiyaki skewers, grilled over binchotan charcoal. Each skewer was juicy and flavorful, with just the right char – a must-try for any grill lover. The Bincho Angus Beef was another standout, incredibly tender and packed with flavor, thanks to the fiery charcoal grill.

The tender Tonkatsu was perfectly crispy and well complemented by the tangy tonkatsu sauce., and the Sashimi Platter was fresh and beautifully presented. The slices of fish had clean, crisp flavors that showcased their quality.

If you’re in the area and looking for a pampering session, I highly recommend giving Flair Studio a try. I must say, it was exactly what I needed for some much-needed hair TLC!
