RUMI The Poet’s Cup (@rumithepoetscup)
We all love surprises, don’t we? I love to break open a fortune cookie to read the message it contains. Bringing the inspiration of a fortune cookie into the brand, RUMI is here not only to satisfy your taste buds with a collection of beverages, but you will also get a slip note from writers all over the world whose identities will be kept a secret unless mentioned. Try their Ice Caramel Macchiato and Ice Hazel Malt, they are awesome!
Singapore Laksa by PGFN
Pandan Gardens Fishball Noodles has been serving delicious Fishball Noodles and Laksa since 1982. At EATBOX 2019, they are only selling Singapore laksa. The laksa broth is a hint of spiciness made with their unique blend of 5 different spices and homemade sambal. Complimenting ingredients are fishcake, beansprouts, tau pok and fresh cockles served topped with their homemade sambal and laksa leaves. You must go for a second serving of their sambal chilli, it is shiok!
SAIKŌ (@getsaiko)
SAIKŌ will be ballin’ non-stop at EATBOX Singapore 2019. Serving takoyaki in sizeable portions with full bite-sized fillings, you can choose from a variety of different fillings. Their signature takoyaki is topped with kani mayo mixed with tobikko and togarashi. I am excited to try their miso butter and truffle mayo version. Get your takoyaki fix now!
Beef Bro (@beefbro_sg)
Flamed diced beef cubes is a Taiwanese street food that is rapidly growing in popularity. Now, you can find this trendy dish at EATBOX 2019! Owned by local Suria and Channel 5 actor Danial Ashriq, Beef Bro features 100% premium flaming Australian rump beef steak. We love their Original Beef Cubes and their signature Singapore’s First Mentaiko Beef Cubes. The beef chunks were well-torched and extremely tender, with each bite bursting with flavour and juice.
Wawa SG (@wawasg)
Hands up if you are a fan of fresh seafood. Wawa is bringing in fresh lala to EATBOX 2019! There are two options available – clams cooked in signature garlic seafood broth, and clams cooked in rich creamy garlic butter sauce. For $8 a bowl, we bought the soup version because the garlicky broth just smells so good. The clams are fresh and the glass noodles soak up all the flavours from the soup.
Broti (@broti_sg)
Moving from sandwiches to solely selling handcrafted teas and soda, Broti is not a stranger to many locals. You can see them in many pasar malams. Their Thai milk tea is aromatic, has a satisfyingly thick consistency, and is not too sweet. For the portion you are getting, it is worth the money. We love their Thai Iced Tea!
Krumbz N Kraves (@krumbznkraves)
This is the first halal shinlin chicken in Singapore. With the deep red spice powder peppered generously over their fried chicken, each piece is so tasty and juicy. They also have the Argentina Squid which is the best seller.
Famous JB 101 Firewokz – 新山101小厨 (@famousjb101)
Famous JB 101 Firewokz is well known for its zi char in Bukit Batok. Now they have brought some of their zi char dishes to their pop-up stall in EATBOX 2019. Enjoy three popular dishes, including Signature Fried Pork, Prawn Paste Chicken and Homemade Prawn Roll. The fried pork we had was so juicy and tender. Each dish costs $10 nett.
