The cosy restaurant is helmed by two true-blue Italian chefs and serves classic dishes such as pizza and pasta. This holiday season sees the launch of a festive 3-course set lunch menu starting from $28++ per person, available from Tuesday to Friday. Start with either the Soup of the Day or Salad with Smoked Salmon and Pomegranate drizzled with Balsamic Vinegar, before diving into the main course which offers four options. We went with the Short Pasta with Mushrooms and Chestnuts tossed in Cream Sauce. The creamy pasta exuded rich flavours that were very reminiscent of winter. The Dolce de Gino aka dessert of the day was a milky panna cotta with mixed berries and the meal concluded with a soothing cup of black coffee (or tea, if you would like). We definitely loved the infusion of holiday-like ingredients in a traditional Italian meal.

BLooiE’s Roadhouse (Unit 426/428)

For a taste of comforting Western food, BLooiE’s Roadhouse is the place to visit! The roadhouse-styled restaurant dives into the Christmas spirit with their Turkey Burger ($23.80), served with a side of crispy criss-cut fries and garden salad. The minced turkey patty was deliciously juicy and stuffed with a decadent amount of cheese that oozed out when we bit into it. It was complemented with house-made cranberry chutney sauce that gave the burger a festive touch. Be sure not to leave without exploring more of BLooiE’s Roadhouse’s menu because the Roadhouse Lamb Rack ($38.80), which is a char-grilled work of art that comes with either mushroom cream or black pepper sauce, is not to be missed.

Known for their tasty and affordable meals, Eighteen Chefs has come up with a whopping total of six Christmas specials that will have you spoilt for choice! Those who love their baked series can find Grilled Chicken Cheese Baked Rice with Teriyaki Sauce ($15.80), Striploin Steak Cheese Baked Rice with BBQ Sauce ($17.80) and Cheese Baked Fusilli with Turkey Bacon ($15.80) on the menu. There’s also Salmon with Garlic Lemon Butter Sauce ($20.80), Striploin with Chicken Bratwurst Sausage ($25.80) and Aglio Olio with Black Pepper Grilled Chicken ($16.80). Spend your Christmas savouring their Chocolate Chips Pancakes ($17.50) that sees ultra-fluffy pancakes studded with a plentiful amount of chocolate chips, complete with mad drizzles of chocolate syrup, strawberries, crunchy chocolate balls and whipped cream. Fall further into a sweet rabbit hole with more of their irresistible desserts such as Pistachio Creme Crepe ($15.50), adorned with homemade pistachio cream, bananas, blueberries and pistachio kernels. One of our absolute favourites was the chewy Mochi Waffles ($14.50), served with vanilla butter sauce, chocolate sauce, maple syrup, chocolate balls, chocolate rasps, almonds and strawberries. You’re definitely in for a decadently good time here!
