BBQ Box (JP2 #01-94/95/96/97A)
If you’re craving a late-night bite, BBQ Box at Jurong Point is the perfect spot. Open from 12 PM to 12 AM, this eatery specializes in Northeastern Chinese-style BBQ skewers, offering a wide range of flavourful grilled meats and vegetables that pair perfectly with their curated beer selection from China.
The skewers are seasoned with a bold blend of spices, including cumin and chili, giving them that authentic smoky kick. Whether it’s tender lamb, juicy chicken wings, or grilled eggplant, each skewer is grilled to perfection. You must try their juicy Grilled Red Sea Prawns. The natural sweetness of the prawns complemented the bold spice rub beautifully. The Hawaiian Chicken Thigh Skewers had a subtle tropical twist with hints of sweetness from pineapple cubes, making them a unique addition to the menu. They also have Grilled Squid Lips and Grilled Squid Tentacles, both are perfectly charred with a satisfying texture.

Brio (JP1 #02-24)
When it comes to unique dining experiences, Brio at Jurong Point never disappoints. This halal-certified restaurant is a celebration of European flavours, boasting everything from Tapas and Pizzas to Risottos, Burgers, Pasta, and Salads.
Its Carbonara Pizza is a perfect fusion of two crowd favourites: pizza and the classic Italian carbonara. The pizza features a thin, crispy crust topped with a creamy carbonara sauce, bits of smoky turkey bacon, and a perfectly cooked runny egg in the center. Each slice is a decadent bite, combining the richness of the sauce with the savory crunch of bacon and the oozy egg yolk tying everything together.
For seafood lovers, the Calamari Squid Ink Pasta is an absolute treat. The striking black noodles are tossed in a flavourful squid ink sauce that’s brimming with briny, umami goodness. Tender calamari rings are generously scattered throughout, adding a delightful chewiness to the dish. My favourite is the Oxtail Bourguignonne which features tender, fall-off-the-bone oxtail that has been slow-braised in a rich sauce. Served alongside creamy mashed potatoes, the deep, hearty flavours of the sauce are perfectly balanced with the tender meat.
Cai Lin Ji (JP2 #03-56)
Cai Lin Ji, one of Hubei province’s most iconic breakfast spots, has brought its rich heritage to Singapore with its first outlet at Jurong Point. Established in 1928, Cai Lin Ji is renowned for serving some of the best noodles in China, making it a must-visit for those craving authentic Hubei flavours.
The menu features a range of beloved street food and delicacies from Hubei, including their signature re gan mian (hot dry noodles) and hearty beef noodles. The Three Delicacies Dou Pi stood out with its crispy rice layer wrapped around a savoury filling of glutinous rice, mushrooms, and minced meat—a satisfying combination of textures. The Signature Lotus Root Pork Ribs Soup was light yet hearty, with tender pork ribs and crunchy lotus root slices in a comforting broth.
A twist on the iconic re gan mian, the Zha Jiang Hot Dry Noodles features chewy noodles tossed in a delicious soybean paste sauce. The bold flavours and springy texture made it an instant favourite. Another popular dish is Xiang Yang Beef Noodles. These noodles were packed with umami, served with tender slices of beef in a deeply savoury broth. The taste was rich and satisfying, ideal for beef noodle lovers.
Legendary Hong Kong (JP2 #03-80/82)
Since opening its first store at Jurong Point in 2014, Legendary Hong Kong has been bringing the flavors and charm of Hong Kong to Singapore. The restaurant aims to deliver the best of Hong Kong cuisine, paired with an inviting atmosphere reminiscent of traditional cha chaan tengs (Hong Kong-style diners).
From classic dim sum to rich roast meats, silky wanton noodles, and indulgent Hong Kong milk tea, every dish is crafted with authentic flavors to transport diners straight to the streets of Hong Kong. It’s a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of Hong Kong in Singapore!
Walking into Legendary Hong Kong at Jurong Point always feels like stepping into a classic cha chaan teng in Hong Kong. Since opening its first outlet in 2014, this spot has become synonymous with authentic Hong Kong cuisine, serving up comforting classics with an old-school charm that instantly brings me back to the bustling streets of Hong Kong.
On my recent visit, I started with the Thick Rice Roll with Deep-Fried Shrimp Rolls. The silky rice rolls wrapped around crispy shrimp rolls offered a perfect balance of textures—soft and crunchy, light yet indulgent. Next, I couldn’t resist the Mini Bolo Buns with Salted Egg Yolk Filling. These little buns were soft, fluffy, and filled with a creamy salted egg yolk center that was both sweet and savoury.
For something hearty, I tried the Stir-Fried Flat Rice Noodle with Beef Slices in Soy Sauce. It had the unmistakable wok hei that makes this dish so iconic, with tender beef slices and perfectly charred noodles. Finally, the Wonton and Shrimp Dumpling in Soup was a comforting bowl of goodness—the delicate dumplings and flavorful broth brought everything together beautifully.
To complete the experience, I couldn’t miss the BBQ 3-in-1 platter, showcasing the rich flavors of Hong Kong-style roasted meats. Legendary Hong Kong isn’t just about the food—it’s about reliving the classic Hong Kong vibe right here in Singapore. Whether you’re craving a simple bun or a hearty noodle dish, this is a place that never disappoints.
Mango Ice (Yang Xiao Xian) (JP1 #02-41)
If you’re a dessert enthusiast, you can’t miss Yang Xiao Xian at Jurong Point. Known for their authentic mein mein ice (绵绵冰), or cotton milk ice, this Xiamen-born brand is a hidden gem serving up indulgent yet refreshing treats.
The showstopper of the meal, this dessert was served in an enormous bowl perfect for sharing. The combination of fresh, sweet mango chunks and soft, cloud-like milk ice was absolutely divine. If you prefer to take and go, 杨枝甘露 (Mango Pomelo Sago) is a good option. This classic Hong Kong-inspired dessert combines tangy pomelo and sweet mango puree seamlessly with the smooth sago pearls, making it a refreshing end to our meal.
We also had the light and refreshing Melon Cotton Ice. The airy layers of milk ice paired beautifully with the fresh, juicy melon cubes. Our friends prefer the Strawberry Milk Ice, the tangy strawberries contrasted perfectly with the sweet, velvety milk ice, making it a dessert that was rich yet balanced.
Panda Chan (熊猫馋了) (JP2 #03-29/30)
Straight from Dalian, China, Panda Chan (熊猫馋了) has opened its first outlet in Singapore at Jurong Point, bringing an array of authentic snacks to locals. We tried their signature Baked Sweet Potato, perfectly soft and naturally sweet, and the Milky Cashew Puff with Red Dates was addictive.
In Singapore, we’re familiar with the aroma of roasted chestnuts from street vendors, but Panda Chan offers a refreshing twist with their frozen chestnuts. These were a delightful surprise—the subtly sweet flavor and unique texture make them an addictive snack for any time of day.
Another highlight was the frozen hawthorn, tangy and refreshing, with the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. It’s ideal for a hot day or as a palate cleanser. Panda Chan’s unique take on these classics is definitely worth trying!
Qing Nian Chun (JP1 #02-22A/K7/K8)
As someone who enjoys drinking tea, I was excited to visit Qing Nian Chun at Jurong Point. This unique spot blends Chinese tea culture with Suzhou-inspired desserts, offering a relaxing space to unwind. I tried the Orchid Biluochun Milk Tea, this creamy milk tea is infused with Biluochun, a green tea from Suzhou. Served with an oat topping, it’s perfectly balanced at the recommended 50% sugar level, letting the tea’s delicate flavours shine.
They offer a variety of Oolong tea options, including Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea, Snow Oolong Pure Tea and Grape White Peach Oolong Tea, making it as fun to drink as it was refreshing. For desserts, the chewy Mochi with Peanuts and the refreshing Biluochun Shaved Ice stood out. The former features soft, chewy bites coated in finely ground peanuts, while the latter had multi-coloured taro balls, red bean, mochi served atop fluffy shaved ice. Whether you’re a tea enthusiast or a dessert lover, there’s something here for everyone.
From now to 15 Jan 2025, Qing Nian Chun is now offering complimentary mochi with peanuts with purchase of any drinks. So hurry, grab a drink today!
Tsukimi Hamburg (JP1 #B1-52)
If there’s one restaurant I keep coming back to at Jurong Point, it’s Tsukimi Hamburg. There’s just something about their dishes that keeps me craving more, especially the Tsukimi Hamburg Don.
The Hamburg steaks here are handcrafted with a house-concocted blend of beef, pork, and Miyazaki Wagyu beef, delivering a rich and juicy flavor in every bite. The patty is cooked to perfection, retaining its tenderness and succulent taste.
To complete the experience, each Hamburg steak is served with Hitomebore rice, imported directly from Tohoku, Japan. Known for its sticky texture and subtle sweetness, this high-quality rice perfectly complements the savoury Hamburg steak, elevating the meal to a new level of indulgence.
The Tsukimi Hamburg Don is simple yet so satisfying. The combination of the steak’s rich flavours and the rice’s sticky, sweet texture creates a comforting meal that’s perfect for any time of day. They also serve Bacon Hamburg Steak Teishoku where this set elevates the classic Hamburg steak with crispy, smoky bacon, making it a hearty and well-rounded meal.
For truffle lovers, Truffle Omuburg Teishoku is a must-try. The rich aroma of truffle enhances the Hamburg steak, which is paired with a creamy omelette and served in a traditional teishoku set. The combination of earthy truffle, fluffy eggs, and juicy steak is simply irresistible.
Whenever I’m at Jurong Point and need a hearty, reliable meal, this is where I go. It’s one of those spots that always hits the spot! Have you tried it?
