Legoland Malaysia Opens TODAY!
September 14, 2012
Today (15 September 2012) marks the official grand opening of LEGOLAND Malaysia!
This international theme park in Malaysia is the first in Asia. It is designed for families with children aged 2 to 12 years old with more than 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions.
Future plans are already in place for LEGOLAND Malaysia to be the largest family destination resort in Southeast Asia with a Water Park and Hotel already under construction for opening in 2013 and 2014.
Strategically located at the heart of the rapidly developing Iskandar region, the Park is accessible to both local and international visitors. It only took us about 10 minutes from the Tuas Second Link by road.
At the Aquazone where you can shoot water bombs.
18m high roller coaster!
Not challenging? Head for the dragon roller coaster ride!
Designed for LEGO fans of all ages, IMAGINATION is where creativity knows no bounds.
Here, you can build your own lego and see if it works.
Kids Power Tower – see if you can pull yourself up!
Families race each other to put out the fire and stop the robbers in this LEGOLAND Rescue Academy.
We had our lunch at the Market Restaurant where oriental and western food were served.
Roasted Chicken Rice
I enjoyed the Fried Black Pepper Udon with Shrimps.
Pizza Mania is another restaurant that serves pastas and pizzas.
Junior Driving School
There are also many interesting characters made of lego!
After all the fun, it’s shopping time! Each of them got themselves a volkswagen lego car!
The boy bought this set of Toy Story keychain, one for me, one for him!
While we were waiting for our bus ride home, we spent our time fixing mini figures.
Cute, isn’t it?
Thank you LEGOLAND Malaysia!
