Oz Specialty @ Sin Ming
August 25, 2014
You know lack of sleep can make you grumpy and foggy. Instead of slapping myself in the face, I decided to reward myself with a good brunch at Oz Specialty. You know they are very serious of coffee when they sell a good range of coffee brewers and uses a wide variety of beans from Brazil, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Indonesia, Thailand.
This cafe is really small so don’t expect a huge food offerings. But I believe that, even if you have only a few dishes available, as long as you do it well, nothing else matters. Our Smoked Salmon Croissant ($11.90) is served with fresh dill, tomatoes and baby rockets, drizzled with dijonnaise mustard. Light and buttery croissant makes the day. (If anyone of you has a good croissant recipe, please share with me!)
Oz makes small batches of the waffle dough by hand daily. If you have sweet tooth, their salted caramel & banana waffle ($10.90) is paired with premium vanilla ice cream and toasted almond slices. Honestly, it is too dense for my liking. And of course, brunch is not complete without a cup of Roadster blend cappuccino. It is very smooth with a medium body, nutty fragrance and sweetness from the milk.
