Singapore Food Masters 2021- Vote For Your Food Heroes and Stand a Chance To Win $100 Shopping Voucher
October 09, 2021
Singapore Food Masters 2021 has returned for its annual quest to recognise and honour local food heroes across the island.
From today until 23 October, foodies will get a chance to vote at sgfoodmasters.sg for their favourites among the 107 participating food outlets to catapult them to the next phase of the competition.
Participating eateries are categorised into one of four zones: North-South, Circle, North-East and East-West.
The top ten eateries in each zone will advance to the next stage, where a panel of 8 judges will assess them. The top 3 eateries are chosen based on taste, presentation, services, value-for-money, and cleanliness.
North-South Zone
It seems to be a tough fight for the food masters in the North Zone as we have strong contenders such as Ban Heng Group of Restaurants, KRAPOW Thai Street Food, Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant, Woody Family Café and more. There are a few new hawkers too, including Tai Zi, The Neighbourwok and Old Airport Road Wanton Noodles.
North-East Zone
Easties, it’s time to vote for the dish that left your taste buds in awe! Some of the eateries that caught my eye include Suk’s Thai Kitchen, Queen of Wok, Restaurant Aisyah, Heavenly Taste Restaurant, and Backyard Grill. There are many other popular choices such as Ah Ma Chi Mian, Bedok Bak Chor Mee, Xin Xin Claypot Rice, Fish Street Teochew Fish Soup, Dynasty Fried Porridge, Jin Ho and more.
Circle Zone
For those working in the CBD area, you should be very familiar with some of the nominees in this zone. You can vote for Doris’s Devilishly Delicious Curry, Kanada-Ya, Golden Poached Rice, Kin Hoi and more. I am happy to see some familiar brands such as Ubi DMQ Easting House, LiXin Teochew Fishball Noodle, Ma Aye Lu, Nan Xing Claypot Rice and more.
East-West Zone
Yes, we didn’t forget our westies. I am rooting for Bebek Goreng, Ashes Burnit, IndoChili, KL Damansara Chilli Ban Mee, Lao Wang Kampong Bean Sprout Chicken Rice, and Seng Kee Black Chicken Herbal Soup. Old World Fried Porridge, Tan Ser Seng and more. The Coco Rice and Lao Wang Kampong Bean Sprout Chicken Rice, Zhi Yun Bao Yao Cai Duck are joining the contest this year.
In addition, public who voted for any of the winning eateries stand a chance to be one of the 12 winners who will walk away with a $100 shopping voucher in a lucky draw.
