Six by Sera – Delicious Savoury Donuts at only $2.90 each

Recently, Sydney Fish Market soared to fame due to their latest creation – sushi donuts. Well, you don’t have to travel all the way there anymore. You can now look forward to delectable savoury donuts at Six by Sera cafe!

Located along Rangoon Road, one-month old Six by Sera cafe is bringing cafe food to new heights.

These beautifully presented savoury donuts come in 3 flavours namely, cheeseburger donut, truffled smoked salmon donut and maple bacon donut.

The cheeseburger donut is topped with minced beef and cherry tomatoes with a slice of melted cheese. It is tasty, great for an afternoon snack! Truffled smoked salmon donut, on the other hand, is refreshing and slightly creamy.

Each donut is affordably priced at $2.90. Note that limited quantities are prepared daily, so hurry down early to snag these yummy treats!

Savoury bites such as smoothie bowl, baked eggs, scrambled eggs & bacon and smoked salmon & avocado are available on the menu daily. There are also cheesecake croissant and milo dinosaur croissant. Since we are there on a Saturday, we ordered their weekend special instead.

A local favourites complete with a modern twist, the fluffy croissants that’s baked to a crisp golden brown is drenched in homemade chilli crab sauce ($11.90). Owner Seraphina grew up having meals at her grandmother’s place frequently, and decided to learn this chilli crab recipe from her granny. The sauce has a good blend of tanginess and sweetness, which complements the croissant well. Another weekend special that is available is the Smoky Pork Croissant.

Grab a cuppa Flat White ($4.90) to kickstart your system for the day. Six by Sera also has Matcha Latte ($4.90) and Hojicha Latte ($4.90) to satisfy. Desserts such as lemon meringue tart and chocolate mousse cake are available as well.

Dining amidst this unpretentious cafe made us feel relaxed. Besides, the food served here is pretty decent and reasonably priced. We would visit it again if we’re in the area.
