While the Prosperity Yu Sheng is the highlight, Sushi Zanmai’s menu has so much more to offer. During our visit to the IMM outlet, we indulged in a variety of dishes that showcased the restaurant’s dedication to quality and flavor. We started with the Sweet Potato Salad, a light and refreshing appetizer that set the tone for the meal. The Shishamo, grilled smelt fish, offered a smoky and satisfying bite, while the Kaki Fry delivered crispy, golden-brown oysters that were juicy and full of flavour.

The sushi and rolls at Sushi Zanmai are not to be missed. The Salmon Mentai Roll, in particular, stood out. Each piece featured buttery, fresh salmon topped with a creamy, umami-packed mentai sauce. It was a true crowd-pleaser and left us wanting more. For those who love grilled dishes, the Karasu Karei Teriyaki was a delightful option, featuring perfectly caramelized fish with a rich, savoury glaze. The lightly-battered Soft Shell Crab was fried to perfection, and simply addictive.

Moving on to heartier options, the Saikoro Steak was a standout. Tender cubes of Angus tenderloin were expertly seared to deliver a smoky char and juicy flavor. For rice lovers, the Kaisen Chahan will be a hit. Expect perfectly-seasoned fried rice loaded with fresh seafood. Don’t forget to pair it with the Ebi Tempura!

The Sukiyaki was another comforting highlight. At only $15.80, this hearty hotpot dish featured tender slices of beef simmered in a rich, sweet-savory broth. The balance of flavors was impeccable, and the inclusion of fresh vegetables and silky tofu was lovely. It’s the kind of dish that warms your soul and leaves you feeling satisfied.

To round off our meal, we ordered the tangy Yuzu Shiratama Mango Monaka, and the Shine Muscat no Osake which were both beautiful fruity ends to a wondrous feast.
